2024 Connecticut Newcomer of the Year

Awarded to the top masterpoint winner in face to face play who began the year with fewer than 50 masterpoints

 

Charles Glassman went wire to wire with consistent performance in club and tournament play. Michael Kaplan's 50+ point year was just enough to hold off the charge of Howard Schiller, who swept the Friday 499er pairs in October in Orange. Ellen Barlow had a fantastic year coming from the 5-20 masterpoint category, and Dexter Munger completed a great top five. Congratulations to all of our up and coming players who started the year with fewer than 50 Masterpoints!
